Where does your 2yo sleep on vacation?
DD is getting too big for her pack n play, although I guess she *could* still squeeze in there. I'm debating on how many beds to get in a hotel room for our summer vacation. I don't know if I'd feel safe with her sleeping in her own big bed but I don't think any of us would sleep much if I put her with DH and myself.
When I bring her in our bed now she just plays and thinks it's a party. She will actually ask to go to her own bed once she's ready to sleep. I can't see her actually sleeping in a bed with us.
Where do you have your toddler sleep when staying in a hotel?

Our eldest (3) sleeps with us, our 20 month old in the pack and play.

Do most hotels do this? I've never heard of this before but it sounds like a great idea!

Where does your 2yo sleep on vacation?
When DS was 2, one of us would share a bed with him when we were traveling. By the time he was 2 1/2, he would sleep in there alone.

In a bed and we have them put rails on it.
This is what we did in Disney. We got a double room and they provided rails for us.

We are having the same debate as well. I have a tall 2 year old...In the past with my sons when they were that age if a place didn't have a crib - I have taken a small air mattress with me and/or my own bed rail (driving trip obviously). I am considering bringing her princess pull out bed/sofa thing for my upcoming trip to Great Wolf.

Every hotel we've ever stayed at has had rails when we've asked and they bring them to the room and put them on the bed (sometimes it is an extra charge). That said - I am a germaphobe and it kind of skeeves me since I am not sure they really clean them but, I wipe them down like crazy ha!

Both my 2&3 year olds have inflatable toddler beds from The Shrunk that we use on vacation.

Reg. Bed, we try to push it against the wall so only 1 side is open and we put pillows to block him in.

Mine too. we got ours from a friend who had bought them at one step ahead. They are 4 now and still fit great in them

When within driving distance, we bring our twin Aerobed and she sleeps on that on the floor
When we flew to Disney, she was 3 yr old and we had her sleep on the pullout sofa and put pillows on the sides so she could get up to go to the bathroom

DD is almost 3. The last time we went to LI to visit, she stayed in the PNP and climbed out every night  She's in a bed now, and she'll be on an air mattress or futon when we visit LI again.
When we go on vacation and stay in a hotel, she will share a bed with DS (she slept over a friend's house recently and shared a bed with him so I know she'll be fine). Even though she rolled around a lot in her crib, she doesn't seem to move quite as much in a bed - but you could always put pillows down on the floor just in case.

Where does your 2yo sleep on vacation?
In June at WDW he will be in the pnp because he will still be in the crib at home (fingers crossed!!!) By the time we go to Disneyland in August, he will be in the toddler bed (most likely) so he will sleep in the pull out bed. (Oh he will be 26 mo in June and 28 in Aug)
