C-Section Moms of 2+
If you had a c-section with your first child, did you deliver your second child earlier than your scheduled c-section date?
Two of my friends are scheduled to have their 2nd c-section in 2 weeks (both were 1st time c-sections) and they are both already dilated and basically ready to go on their own.
I'm just wondering how common it is for 2nd time moms to go into labor before your c-section date?

1st was a C/S
2nd was a scheduled C/S 10 days before due date with no problems
3rd was a scheduled C/S and went on bedrest at 36 weeks due to pre-term contractions, but went on meds and was fine for the remainder

I delivered DD #1 at 37 w 3 d via c-secion and had DD #2 at 38 weeks - a week before I was scheduled.
My water broke both times.

My first c/s was with DD and it was at 36 weeks due to placenta previa. I am expecting #3 and am having a scheduled c/s at 38 weeks. With DS I went into labor at 39 weeks and delivered naturally.

DS#1 ended up being a section 10 days late
DS#2 was suppose to be section @ 39 weeks & was born premature at 32 weeks

1st was an emergency csection (my water broke at 37w6d). Second csection was only 4 days before my due date on my scheduled day and the dr said if they didn't taker her she probably would have stayed in for another week.

1st was a scheduled c/s @ exactly 40wks - no complications, no signs of labor.
2nd was a scheduled repeat c/s @ 39wks 1days - no complications, no signs of labor.
3rd is a scheduled c/s @ 39wks 6days - no issues to date (I am 36wks 1 day)

My 2nd c-section was done ON my due date. My 3rd was 5 days before my due date.

My first section was an Emergency at 38 weeks. Water broke, but both baby and I were hemorrhaging, so they put me under general and got him out. This time they said they will schedule me at 37 weeks...hope these twins will stay put that long!

Ds was an emergency c-section at 40w1d and I was hoping to vbac for ds2 but changed my mind around 37 weeks because he was measuring very large but would have gone for the vbac if I started going into labor. I never did. Section was scheduled for 39 weeks and he was a huge baby, glad I didn't attempt a vbac lol

DS #2 - scheduled c-section at 39 weeks - doctors said i would probably have gone late again

I was induced at 38 weeks for medical reasons and ended up with a c-section. I had my second c-section scheduled at 39w4d. My water broke at 38w5d. I decided to try for a VBAC. My labor progressed quickly, but I ended up with another c-section. I had an appointment about 4 days before my water broke and wasn't dilated at all.

Both of my kids were scheduled c-sections. The first was 10 days past due date and was an elective c-section. The second was scheduled 4 days before my due date and there were no signs of going into labor on my own.

3 csections.
First one was unplanned, I was 8 days late.
The next 2 were scheduled and I did NOT go into labor beforehand, I made it to the scheduled dates.

DS had a sched c-section but ended up going early at 38 weeks
DS2 had a sched c-section as well but ended up going early at 37 weeks
