Lovenox Ladies- OB?
If this pg sticks I am going to need to switch OBs. MIne is just too far. I am looking for a new OB who is familiar with blood clotting issues and lovenox. Preferably someone associated with LIJ or North Shore. I am in Massapequa area so someone near here would be great.

My OB is Dr Antoniadis and he has an office in Massapequa and West Islip. he is only in Massapequa one day a week I think.
He delivers at good sam and plainview. I developed clots half way through my pregnancy. I also went to Madonna for NST and sonos weekly.

i use University Plaza OB/GYN in Garden City. They deliver at Winthrop. I had similar issues and was on lovenox and had a non-complicated pregnancy.

i use University Plaza OB/GYN in Garden City. They deliver at Winthrop. I had similar issues and was on lovenox and had a non-complicated pregnancy.
What are the doctors' names in the practice?

Dr Alex Kofinas...he is high risk he is not an ob but he works with your ob... He gave me my little miracle!! he has an office in garden city...

Ditto. He works with Pillitteri in Deep Park so its not too far from Massapequa. Wait times are nuts though but he is high risk and works well with Kofinas.

not all the time but they come in to see patients a few times a month. Winthrop's group comes into the practice or you can go there to see them directly.

Did you have to see the peri often when you were on lovenox? With my past pregnancies I got sonos at the end every week to few days to monitor, and they checked my blood levels.

I was on Lovenox because of MTHFR and my OB was Dr. Goldstein in Great Neck. He delivers at LIJ. Im also in Massapequa.
Pros:
-No wait time
-he had many patients on Lovenox and with blood clotting issues
-friendly, funny, helped me stay calm and not stressed
-good nurses and staff
-open late Monday
Cons:
He didnt deliver my baby. He's the only one in the practice. The person who delivered her was great though.

I think Dr. Goldstein might cover for my doctor and I think I met him once. But I just can't drive to Great Neck for all my appts.

I went to Dr. Kofinas in his Brooklyn office..he was amazing.. as was his staff! He worked with my Ob..great communication ...

A friend of mine who has similar issues uses this practice too. I also use them but don't have clotting issues.
