with a blood pressure of 120/70? Thoughts? experience?

A trace of protein or did you di a 24 hour collection? I've had high BPs and traces of protein, but then my 24 hour collections have come up fine so they weren't concerned.

just found out I had protein in my urine with BP of 120/80... they gave me the 24 hour urine.. waiting until friday for my results!

did they ask you to do 24 hour collection?
my bp was perfect but there was protein in my urine at my 32w routine dr. visit so i had to do 24 hour. day after 24 hour i was put in the hospital until delivery which they were hoping would be around 36w. i felt absolutely normal the day before. even the first few days in the hospital i kept questioning why i was there, my BP was pretty normal but i had protein in my urine, low amniotic fluid, and baby was measuring 2 weeks behind. it was early pre-eclampsia. 5 days later i developed HELLP, a serious complication of pre-e, and had to deliver at 33w.

I had traces of protein in my urine early on, also with low blood pressure. As time went on, BP went up and protein increased until it was full blown preeclampsia. Took about 4 weeks. I hope its nothing...

She sent the urine out to the lab today. She said maybe a UTI. I dont know though. If it is soon to be pre eclampsia is there any way to prevent it?
