Too many registries?

What are your thoughts on this? I started registering at BBB & put like 10-15 items on there. This store is good for DH's family, closer to where they live.

The bedding I want is only at BRU, so I was going to make a registry there & also add other items I didn't like at BBB.. this store is better for my side of the family.

Amazon is awesome with their universal registry button, being able to add stuff from ANY site on the internet & I even found some extra bedding/nursery pieces that BRU doesn't carry.. Amazon is especially awesome for OOT'ers.

3 too much? None of the lists would be huge.. I just feel like unless people look at all 3, they will think I'm greedy or something having 3. Other issue is our furniture will likely be from Behr's & I certainly don't want a 4th registry listed, so I will likely leave furniture off the registry entirely & buy myself right off the bat.

Thoughts?

Re: Too many registries?

I'm kinda wishing we just did BRU now looking back....I did BBB too cause they had the stroller I wanted. My shower is next Sunday and I can say almost all the purchases made have been at BRu from stalking Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon and hardly any from BBB. I think just cause there are so many BRU stores and it's easier for people. But then again most people do they shopping the week before or the weekend of the shower so you never know

I did the same exact three...

so far, not much has been purchased, but some items from each registry have been purchased. INCLUDING my City Mini Stroller from BBB!!! A high chair from Amazon. And the My Little Lamb Swing from BRU!

I don't think it's too much...

I just make sure I registry stalk so I can delete doubles from the other registries and not end up with doubles. Okay... I really stalk because it's FUN!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I did those three. I did the amazon registry and registered for a lot of classic children's books to build the baby's library. We weren't going to do BBB but went into the store one day on a whim and loved it.

I have registries at all 3 of those and only announced the Amazon one. It was great. All my friends and family love it because there's an option to send gifts directly to me.

I just keep a close eye (stalk) the other two and if someone buys something from there I take it off Amazon.

Re: Too many registries?

I had the same 3 registries.....
ONE person shopped off the BBB registry.
ONE person shopped off the Amazon registry.
Everything else came from BRU.

Looking back I wish I had just done the BRU and Amazon for that reason; however, I don't think 3 is too many especially if you think that people will actually shop from all 3. Plus you will get the completion coupons from all 3 places!!!

Re: Too many registries?

I had 3 for my wedding, so I don't think it's a big deal. I just know most people wait till the last minute so online only registries can be hard in that way.
ETA: I'm doing BRU and Target (which has a good amount of online on unfortunately.)
