Book Registries? Do they exist?

I have a bunch of baby books that I would LOVE to buy and this got me thinking: Is there such a thing as a BOOK REGISTRY?

Wouldn't it be neat if Barnes and Noble had a registry for books?

ETA: I'm talking about books that aren't typically found in baby stores (I love the Little Miss/Little Mr. book collection by Hargreaves!!!)

If you are having a shower then someone could list it on your invite, if you're not then I guess you have to stick with sharing the info with people when they ask where you are registered (or designate someone close to you to spread the word Chat Icon )

Re: Book Registries? Do they exist?

You can create an amazon.com book wishlist for the baby......

Also a great idea that you can ask your family to get together for your shower is for every person invited to bring their favorite children's book, enscribed with a message to the baby in it.

We did this for my sister's baby shower and it was so nice. She got a lot of duplicates, but it was nice to read what everyone wrote about why they liked the book so much. It was a great way to share memories.
