VS Underwear - bad quality
I just need to vent, but lately I've just been sorely disappointed with all the underwear I've bought from Victoria's Secret. As I'm getting dressed this morning, I go into my undewear drawer to pull out a fresh pair, a batch of bikini briefs I bought only 6 months ago and already 2 pairs have tiny holes along the top hem (I only washed them 2x!).
I decided to go through my entire underwear drawer and noticed that out of 25 pairs I had, at least 11 of them from VS (from the Second Skin Satin collection, to Body by Victoria) were all looking ratty, were falling apart, etc (and its not like they are 5 years old).
Compared that to my satin undies, bikini briefs, and plain old cotton undies I have from Hanes, Bali, Jockey, etc (bought cheaper at Target/WalMart or JCP) and those pairs STILL LOOK BRAND NEW!!
So lesson learned- I will never buy VS underwear again!!! They are just bad quality!!!

I have to agree. I bought some at xmas time that were good, but I bought the same 'kind' a few weeks ago and they seem MUCH poorer quality, thinner material.

I only buy the cotton ones (boy shorts with lace trim) and I've never had a problem.

Also agreed. I just had the underwire snap on two of my Body by Victoria bras a couple weeks ago.

Agree. I bought a Very Sexy bra which I used to love and within a few months the strap part loosened causing the strap to come out. BOOOO...

Same here! Usually anyway. I have lacie ones on now, I got them at the last semi-annual sale and they are still in great condition.

Yea their stuff is of no good quality anymore. I remember I had these mesh like g string panties with the rhinestone v on the back and they lasted me for years. Gosh I loved them. They were my best panties.

Write them a strongly worded complaint letter. I had an underwire pop out after only 3 wears, and they sent me a coupon for 2 free bras (no restrictions). I got two different styles, and both were great! One thing they do have going for them is awesome customer service.

Good to know! I had this happen with 2 bras from them the underwire poked through the bra to my skin and it was painful!

Thanks for all of the reviews ladies.
I was just about to take advantage of the semi-annual sale and stock up (I'm in desperate need I think the last big buy was when DC's were babies ) and well, based on all of these poor reviews I'm glad I didn't.
I'll just get some during my bi-weekly Target trip

I am not a fan of VS undies or bras. All my VS bras are not the same after I wash them & the undies do not hold up well at all.

i dont lke VS bras but undies have def gone downhill. their quality SUCKKKSS.. i thought it was just me! i bought a bunch over the weekend.. and they are def thinner and feel cheap. bleh

I feel the same way!! The quality is terrible! I only have a few bras from VS and they are terrible too! The underwire popped out of them. I even bought a bathing suit from there and the first time I washed it (on the gentle cycle) I ripped!! It wasn't cheap either!

I stopped buying underwear and bras from VS about 2 years ago for this exact reason.
I now get my undergarments from Gilly Hicks, Aerie, and Gap Body. I find the quality is much better and even the fit is better on most of them.

that is why im slowly changing all my undies over to hanky pankys.
they wash beautifully, are super comfy and fit great, even though they are one size fits all
