HSG exam and pregnant
I posted this on the pregnancy board, but figured I put it here too.
So, does anyone know anyone who had an HSG procedure done and then got their BFP? I had mine on 3/11 and O'd on either 3/14 or 15. My tubes were open and clear and the doc said everything looks good. We on month 12  I just want my BFP already.

Me!! This is what happened with me when I got pg with my DS. I had the HSG and conceived DS two days later. That was cycle 13 or so for us too. this also happened to someone else I know. good luck!

Wow, that's so awesome to hear this. I hope this will happen to me too
But if you don't mind me asking were your tubes blocked?

Tubes were open, no problems found. The nurse who was with me during my HSG said "go home and BD- a lot of times people are more fertile after the procedure" --- she was right! part of me wants to ask for another one this time around!

 I had my HSG early this month. 1 tube was open and 1 was blocked but the dye opened it up. We have been BDing every other day...I am really hoping this is our month. I think I O'd on this past weekend, so hopefully we'll know soon. I am sooo tired of waiting too.

I DID!!!! We had been TTC #2 for 10 months and we were having such a hard time. We used OPK's, BD all the time, even had an iternal sono and dr. said everything was great. I was beyond frustrated because we got pregnant with DD on our first try.
So last Oct., finally the dr. gave me a script for the HSG (I am 36, so he kinda went with the 6month rule). Couldn't get it done in Nov. because I had the flu, then in Dec. the days where I was suppose to go was Xmas eve & Xmas, so the place was closed. Finally got it done at the beginning on Jan. No blockage, but it def. took the doctor a long time to thread the tube, so I am thinking something was going on down there.
Conceived on 1/27, got my BFP on 2/6 @ 11 DPO!!! Now 14 weeks and doing great! I know two other girls that got there BFP after the HSG also!!

I think if your tubes are clear you might have a slight elevated chance of conceiving for the next 3 cycles. Any small blockage might have cleared out or the dye might have actually stetched the tubes slighlty to allow the little swimmers easier access. Either way HOPE this works for YOU!

yes my bestfriend got pregnant one month after her HSG! and she was trying for almost a year before she had the HSG

My friend did. She just started seeing an RE after almost 3 years of TTC. He gave her the script for HSG and conceived that month. Herbaby boy is now 2.
When I went in, the nurse told me the same thing, that she hears a lot of women who get BFP after exam!
