Pregnant after HSG???
Hey ladies! Sorry to bust in over here, but I am looking for some positive experiences of those who got pregnant during the cycle after their HSG. They kept telling me how the chances are better after this test, but I figured you would know best. I would appreciate hearing your stories!!

I didn't get pregnant the cycle after the HSG, but I did the next cycle. But I also took Clomid, so i don't know if the HSG helped or not. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

My dr told me that chances are good during the following 3 cycles after an HSG. In her experience the majority of women that got pregnant after having one done was usually on the first cycle.
ETA: I'm not pregnant yet...

happened to my SIL after a year and a half of trying. she had the HSG and was pregnant the next cycle! i've read that HSGs can sometimes clean up the plumbing down there and increase fertility. GOOD LUCK!!!!

Yes, this worked for me. I had the HSG done in early Feb., got AF late Feb., and got pregnant shortly after that!
So one cycle for me. The doctor who did mine told me many women conceive not long after having this done also.

I went for a sonohysterogram (similar to HSG but w/ saline instead of dye) this month and I just recently found out I am pregnant! We were actually going to o for an IUI next month so the tim ing is amazing! Good luck

I took my Hsg test on May 29 found out my tubes were clear. Found out I was pregnant on 7/29/07.
