Re: Those on Zofran
yes, it lessened my vomiting, but never stopped it. I haven't had a single vom-free day since my before my BFP. (i thought it was a stomach virus because DH had it too, but nope, pg.)

I knew yours didn't fully help you. You're 10x worse then me (just like the 1st time around.), I don't know how you deal. I cry, I won't lie, I can't deal with feeling like this.
Do you take 1 or 2 a day?

Re: Those on Zofran
hey, does your insurance cover it fully? I have a deductible/coinsurance, no copays, so I'm paying about $445 per MONTH for it out of pocket. I cry every time i refill, but i tried skipping it for a few days and thought i was going to die. I can't wait

Re: Those on Zofran
Definitely stopped the vomitting but the naseau was still there. It finally went away around 17 weeks, not fully (20 weeks now, still slightly naseaus most of the day) but I'm able to function each day. Good luck!

Re: Those on Zofran
I was taking it twice a day and some days were still worse than others. But for the most part it worked great for me.
Eventually, I was able to just take one in the morning and it would work for the rest of the day/night. I still had to be careful that I was eating enough and I never had an empty stomach.
I hope you feel better soon!

Same for me.
I really tried to tough it out, I only took it one when I couldn't even keep down water for more than a day- I hate medicine.

Is that the price for Zofran or the generic?

Re: Those on Zofran
It works well for me. I still try not taking it. My Dr said some days you might not need it, so I test the waters every morning, throw up and then take it. I then eat breakfast much later when I get to work. Somedays I still feel nauseous through out the day, but i don't throw up. I just keep telling myself that this will pass and its worse bc there are 2 of them. Good Luck

Wait...you can take it that many times at 8mg? They lied to me They gave me 4 mg 3xs a day. I also cant shake this feeling but since I am almost 14 weeks I am hoping it subsides at 17 weeks like dd did.

they told me that's my max oral dosage and if that didn't stop me from dropping weight, my next step is the pump. i'm 6+mos pg and down over 20 lbs from pre-pg weight. Every single time I go for a Dr visit, I lose another lb or 2.
