Post your upcoming vacations!
I keep getting these darn cruise critic emails about upcoming cruise deals, which leads me to the website, then the cruise boards, then people's reviews and pics, then makes me think about going on vacation all day! But since DH started a new job he can't take any time off so it looks like the cruise we wanted to do this year will have to wait til 2012.
So we'll be doing our usual 
-Disney for a weekend in April (my bday) to meet up with friends
-NY for a few days in July for a wedding and to see my fam
-NY again in Dec for xmas/new years
DH is probably going to Vegas in Oct for a convention with his new job and I might go with him... he's never been there so i'll be really excited if that works out.
Anyone have any exciting vacations planned for 2011?

Maybe Vermont in the summer for a long weekend.
Great Wolf for one night in October.
I plan to take a whole week off during the summer as well, but plan to stay home.

Disney next month....but really its a mix of business and pleasure. First half of the week is work/school stuff and the 2nd is all vaca 
CaMacho, I forgot, is it in the 80's next month in Orlando?

I don't know about 'exciting' but I'm off to see my Dad for Easter. He has rented us a cabana at their local park and we're going to do a egg hunt and bbq on Saturday then do the local stuff on Sunday.
So driving to and from Iowa whoohoo
The total drive from house to dad's is 17hrs
Then later in the year We're taking AJ to Disney World!!! 
We 'may' drive to Disney, I'm not 100% sure.
That's all I have planned.
ETA: oop forgot I'm taking a trip to a Lakehouse, probably a trip to Houston, a trip to Dallas and trip to the beach. Oh and the strawberry festival and seaworld plus I want to take her to a Renaissance Festival. Gotta love all the stuff I can find in Texas.

Yes 80's during the day, could still be cool at night though in April there... like 50's/60's. What week are you going?

We're going to Disney in May for a couple of days. We got really cheap airfare and we have annual passes that expire in Aug so we wanted to go once more before then. Hoping it's not tooo hot.

THat was my last one for a while. Maybe a weekend trip in the Fall to Baltimore

*sigh* no major vacation for us this year.
we almost decided to go to Germany in August for a friends wedding but...no. not right now.
so...
we are going to Niagra Falls, probably in late June/early July while visiting my brother in Erie PA. we'll also go to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame in Ohio that trip also (both are 90 mins from him just about)
I want to do either way on on LI or up to Maine for a relaxing beach/seafood love fest sometime during the summer.
probably take the boy to Sesame Place or some other tiny boy park.
oh and maybe my aunts new lakehouse in Houston for thanksgiving.
we plan on doing a lot of longer weekends in the summer, and hanging out in lakes and parks and stuff.

Our big family vacation this year is to Disney in May.
Then we'll take another family trip to my parent's house in Vegas in September.
I'm also trying to plan a weekend trip somewhere in driving distance.

- Orlando in May for a week
- Lancaster weekend for Dutch Wonderland and Day with Thomas the Train in June
- Jersey shore extended weekend in June
- Cruise of Pacific West Coast in September
I would rather go overseas but DC is too young to fly more than 3 hours!

Disney in June.
We ALWAYS do Disney in November, but we're hoping to find and move into a bigger house before school starts in September, so we decided to push that trip off until February or March of 2012...
