The Dr. is 90% sure Alexa does not have Precocious Puberty!!
YAY!!! I am sooo happy for her!!!
She has had underarm odor since she was about 4 months old. The ped. kept saying don't worry.
Then about a month ago she developed hair in her private area and they sent us to the Pediatric Endocrinologist at Cohens Children's Medical Center.
The Endo. is not worried at all because her hair is minimal and she said underarm odor is actually more normal then most know because no one talks about it.
I feel bad that she may get stinky and poor thing needs deodorant already but that is better then her having something serious wrong with her.
I wanted to share just in case there is anyone else out there with a stinky kid It is more normal then you know! You are not alone!
It is just the adrenal hormones acting a little more then usual but it is nothing serious.
She will go for blood work Thursday but that is just to make 100% sure.
