after 1/2 marathon what do you rec to lose last 10 lbs?

I had DS by c/s 4 months ago and just did the Diva. I lost all of my pg weight but have about 8-10 lbs I'd like to lose. Honestly I am kind of burnt out on running but want an exercise routine to kick my a$$. I have p90x but its hard for me to do a dvd day after day. Any recommendations?

I could have wrote this word for word.
I ran the li 1/2 in may and was burnt out. I ended up putting weight back on because I stopped exercising all together. So I signed up for the diva 1/2 and now I am in the same place, burnt out. I told myself this weekend that on Monday I would start with a routine again of maybe walking on an incline (treadmill) and doing the 30 day shred dvd 3x a week.
Sorry I don't really have advice but I know exactly how you feel.

Instead of focusing on losing the weight with excercise, why don't you try changing your diet? You just ran 13.1 miles- thats a big accomplishment- take some time to enjoy it! In the meantime, why not try WW or another plan to take the weight off? Weight loss is for the most part diet. Excercise is only a supplement that can aid in the process. But diet is key!

Sorry, I should have added this in the OP but I am EBFing and following ww for nursing moms so there is not too much more I can do on the diet front. Just looking to change up the exercise and challenge my body again in a way different from running.

how about yoga and/or pilates? if you go regularly they totally reshape your body! or do something fun like zumba that doesn't even feel like exercise, or a spin class that burns tons of calories.

Wow congrats on your half marathon 4 months after having your DS! That is great!

I would try changing up the diet a bit. I know WW is good but maybe try eliminating some carbs or something? also change up your workout routine a bit...do you go to a gym?
