Sooner, but I had no choice in the matter since I didn't meet DH until I was 33 and we didn't get married until I was 35.

DD was born 2 months shy of my 38th birthday (again, not something planned as it took lots of IF treatments and 2 years to get pregnant).

This DC will be born in 3.5 weeks and I am now 39.

Of course I would have loved to be a "young" mom, but it wasn't in the cards for me, and if it was, I wouldn't have what I have now.

I don't dwell on it.

Sooner.....I was 38. I had difficulties conceiving (low egg supply) and had to use IVF. Had a pretty rough recovery, too.

If I could have planned everything perfectly, I would have like to have started having kids in my 20's, I wanted to be a "young" mom. Things didn't work out that way, and I had DC a week before my 31st bday.

Part of me thinks sooner but then I wouldn't have had all the other parts of my life in-line for where I wanted them when little ones arrived.

I always said I wanted to have 2 children before I turned 30. But quite honestly, I wouldn't change anything about how long we waited because we felt the time was right now and not years ago. I was recently 31 when DS was born.

I DO wish I was younger so that I could have more energy and more years with him, be a young mom, etc., but I don't wish I had him earlier, if that makes sense.

I'm glad we didn't do it sooner, I enjoyed our time with just us and miss it sometimes. That being said, if we waited, we wouldn't have had the same baby and I wouldn't want to trade her for someone else!

I wanted to be done by the time I was 30 (I envisioned them being 20 when I was 50). Well I upped it to 35...just in case I have 3rd!!!

I had DS at 34. I wish I had kids sooner...just from a physical energy aspect.

Now that I have DS, I wish I had started sooner. He was born a few months before my 32nd birthday.

If I could have had all the experiences I did, and done all of the traveling, etc etc AND had kids at 23 - that would have been ideal.

But that's not my reality.

So, while PHYSICALLY I think it's better to do it younger, mentally - I think 30 was a good time for me

Sooner....because I really want a 3rd and I will be 35 in january and we cant afford 3 in daycare

I always wanted to be done having kids by 30, I'm 31 and just had my last, so I'm pretty close to what I wanted. I wouldn't change it. I'm happy with how it turned out.

Happy... I had DS at 32.
Got to do pretty much most things I wanted to do and met DH perfect time in my life. No regrets

I said sooner but honestly I'm on the fence.

I got married when I was 20...orginally I planned to have one at 25, the second at 27, then be done by 29. We didn't know we would be dealing with IF so I didn't have DD until I was 28. I am 31 and we are TTC #2. I kind of feel like the length of time we have been married we should be done but we're still young and have some time. Plus DH and I got to do a lot together alone so I really don't feel like we missed that time.

Later. I thought I wanted 4 so I decided to start early - during our HM. Now that we have (pretty much) decided on 2, I wish I'd enjoyed just being married longer.

I think our timing worked out fine, no regrets. I was 26 when we got married and 28 when I had DD. We enjoyed some quiet newlywed time (not to mention the years we dated before), traveled and just enjoyed the two of us.

The idea of being a younger parent always seemed appealing to me because lets face it, you need a lot of energy to keep up with these LOs. Maybe those sleepless nights wouldn't have been so hard, after all I used to party all night and go to work just a few hours later in my early 20s . But at the same time, I wouldn't change my carefree, wild and crazy early 20s for anything. Definitely would have missed out on a lot if I had kids back then.

I'm happy with the point in my life that I had DS but, I wish I was younger at that point so I wouldn't feel like I should be in a rush to have number 2 (I'll be 35 in 6 weeks).

Earier-but I mean earlier in age for me. But that would have meant I would have had to have met Dh earlier.

We planned on waiting a year to start trying after we got married, but wound up only waiting 3 months!

Sooner, but it's just the way it worked out for us. But if we had had them sooner, we wouldn't have been in the right place financially.

I was 24 when i got married and 28 (1 month shy of 29) when DD#1 was born. i LOVE that DH and I had 4.5 years of being married and experiencing all that we did in that time. Also, financially, we were in a great place (though, i wouldn't have held out on TTC based on our bank account).

Now, DD#2 will be here a couple of months after i turn 30. It does make me question if i want more kids after that, because i didn't really want to have kids into my 30s, but the first 2 worked out perfectly.
