bedtime for 2 month olds - please share
Can you tell me your bedtime routine including times for your 2 month olds? And how often they get up at night?

7 weeks old DS started sleeping from 11-6am. It increased slowly, then 11-7, 11-8am.
Now DS is 13 weeks old sleeping about 9pm-8am. At least 10 hours.
ETA: Before 7 weeks old, he got up around 2am. We never really had a routine. We still dont really have a routine yet. He gets a bath every other night around 7pm then a bottle around 8pm. He usually falls asleep within an hour of having his last bottle.

DD#2 will be 6 weeks tomorrow so she's not quite 2 months but we generally give her a bottle around 9ish. Then my husband swaddles her and we put her in the bassinet. As of late she's been sleeping until 6am. Sometimes she's up around 4:30am and then goes back to sleep until 8ish.

DS is 10 weeks old & he has his last bottle at around 9. He goes to bed at 9:30-9:45 & will wake at 5:30-6 for a bottle. Then go back to bed until around 7:30am.

DS is 9 weeks old...he's had more or less the same routine from day one. I guess you can say I got lucky for this one, but I just have a feeling that DC #2 will be total opposite LOL...
Every other day he gets a bath...I'm actually thinking of giving him a bath EVERY day b/c it makes him get to sleep sooo much easier...but I just won't wash him everyday, only put some bubbles in with him and let him play. Well see... anyways... When he gets a bath, it's usually about 7pm... then he is done eating his last bottle at 8pm. He wakes up about 11 crying, but never opens his eyes. So, I just feed him half a bottle, about 4oz in his room, still dark, not talking much....and then put him right back in his crib. He's out for the night after that...about 8am he'll wake up.
BUT...it's not all sunshine like that for me...He HATES getting to sleep. He becomes super cranky when trying to fall asleep... at least the past few weeks. So now I have to walk around the house for a good 30 mins (and I have a small house so it's sooo boring LOL) ... and then he calms down and I'm able to sit on the couch with him on my chest for a good 20 mins or so till he's totally out cold...THEN I can finally put him in his crib.
I'm hoping to get rid of that 11pm bottle...since it used to be a full bottle, but now he can't handle it... I wasted so much formula so now I only give 4oz, and he still doesn't finish all of it...almost, but not quite.

DS#2 is having major issues with his tummy and reflux but aside from that he wakes to eat every 3 hours. He is 7 weeks old today and already 11lbs 12oz.
Any advice? it's killing me!

I honestly have no advice... DS was STTN since day one being home from the hosptial. I really lucked out that way... thus I'm dreading to have DC#2 whenever that may be, b/c I just KNOW it's gonna be TOTAL opposite LOL

LO is 8w and has last bottle at 8:30, bed around 9, wakes anywhere from 5-7, then back down till about 9ish

DD is 8 weeks and she gets a bottle between 930-1030. Then her witching HOURS start  She'll fall asleep anywhere from 1130-130 after fussing and crying for however long she feels necessary lol
Then she'll sleep til about 530-630ish have a bottle then sleep til about 8-9am
everyday is different but that's the general rundown

Wow- what am I doing wrong? DD is 7 weeks and still waking up every 3-4 hours or so to eat in the middle of the night!
DD gets REALLY cranky after her 7/8 pm bottle and wants to sleep but screams until she falls asleep in her swing. She eats again around 11 pm and goes right to sleep after that but gets up around 3 ish (last night was 4 am) for another bottle.

Sounds normal.... after 7/8 is the "witching hour" that lasts MUCH longer than an hour at times.. Most babies go thru it. My DS always woke every 2-3 hours.
DC is still young... He will stop waking to eat when he isn't hungry. Don't go by what other children are donig. Your DC will make his routine. It's when they are older that "night waking" can become a habit. 
Im also surprised at all the really young babies who are STTN!!

He is still sooo young.. they need to eat. Please dont' compare your babies!! 7 weeks....I know it's hard. .I HATED the newborn stage but it does get better. But 7 weeks.. they are going to change every day!!

We started giving my DH a bedtime ritual right from birth. Everynight we said prayers after his feeding between 10pm and Midnight. When he was 10 weeks old he slept through the night for the first time 11pm- 7:30 am. So, DH and I decided he was ready for a bedtime. Since then everynight at 10:30 I feed him (even if he just ate ate an hour before), then we change his daiper, wrap him up in his swaddleme banket, say prayers, turn on his moblie, and turn on his twilight turtle night light (it projects stars). He's 15 weeks now and he has slept from 11 to between 6:30 and 8:00 am every night since St. Patrick's Day  ! It's never too early to start a routine and I'm so glad we did. Even if he's awake when we put him down he doesn't cry, he knows it's bedtime.

DS is 11 weeks and he is changed, swaddled and given a bottle at around 7-8pm, I keep him in the den with me till I go to bed and then I put him in his bassinet at around 11pm. He sleeps till 6am. Then he has 4-5oz and goes back to sleep till 8-8:30am.
ETA: my DD was never this good with sleeping. She didn't STTN till over a year old. It really is just luck of the draw with these little ones.

 OMG letting a two month old Cry thru a night feeding!! OMG Im sorry but that is incredibly harsh and way tooooo early!!! 
JMO..flame if you want to. ETA: I do realize you did not take his advice.

we don't really have a bedtime routine exactly..
he gets a bath every other night (which he LOVES), then we play on the bed for a while.. i BF him, then we go to bed.
he wakes up at least 1x/night (which is the LEAST ever..) but usually 2-3x/night and he's basically 4 months old.
i'm surprised that so many babies STTN already! I feel like that is the exception rather than the rule.. IMO

Yes we really lucked out with Ainsley. Kaydyn didn't not sleep this well so early. She woke up once a night until 8 months old when we did CIO. We are EXTREMELY lucky with Ainsley.

DS is 9.5 weeks old. Around 6 weeks, he started going around 5-6 hours between feedings - so waking about 1x a night to eat. Then we moved at 7 weeks and he went back to eating every 3-4 hours during the night so he was basically up 2x to eat.
Starting last week, he has been having his last bottle and going to bed between 7:30 and 8:30 sleeping until about 4:00 - 5:00 AM. He eats and then goes back to sleep until about 7:00 AM when he is up for the day.
As for a routine, our's is kind of loose. He generally has a bath and then his last bottle is givein to him in his room where we keep the lights dim. Sometimes he will hang out for a little while before we give him his bottle depending on the time.
DS has refulx and started sleeping better when he changed his formula to Enfamil A.R. which has rice starch in it. i know it doesn't work for everyone, but it seems to help him go longer stretches at night. I also will add that DS is NOT a good napper during the day. We are working on improving this!

DD is 8 weeks and this is preyty much our routine too...bottle, swaddle, bed. Shes goes down b/t 9-10pm, sleeps through the night and gets up b/t 6-7am
ETA- she started STTN herself from 4-6 weeks. Around that time she would go down around 10ish, get up at 4ish for abottle and then go back down till around 9am. one day around 6-7 weeks she slept through it, and i woke up at 4 that night and waited...she never woke up so i let her sleep. she did this for 2 days and then went back to getting up at 4-5 again for a bottle the next 2 nights after that, and then she went back to sleeping till 7ish and it has stayed that way since. There are night she makes noises, if it happens it tends to be around 4-6am (grunting, occasional squeeking, etc), but she never "gets up" or cries (when shes hungry she will WAIL lol) so I know she doesnt need a bottle. My ped said it's fine b/c she eats nice during the day, so its like she "stocks" up on milk to keep her full through the night. My DS was the same...a great night sleeper. Now naps during the day for DD is another story shes a catnapper, unless shes in the carseat. again my ped said it could be b/c shes sleeping so well at night

Wow, I am surprised that so many little ones are STTN so early on. My DS is 8 weeks old and he goes to bed at 10 - is up at least three times during the night and is up for good by 7:00. I BF (not sure if that is why).
I put him down at 7:00 tonight - hoping the earlier bedtime does the trick.

I had been making bedtime 7/8pm and DS was getting up 2x a night still. Then at 7.5 weeks - we went to a famiy party and he was up till 1030 - then he STTN. So I made bedtime later. He gets a bath every other night and the bedtime bottle anywhere between 8-10. Then he finishes the bottle with the lights dimmed (or in front of the TV when mommy forgets) and as he's getting sleep I swaddle him and then rock and sing to him till he's out. DS is 9 weeks.
Lately though his naps have been allover and he hardly drinks the bedtime bottle. He wakes around 4 ot5 for another bottle. He also screams and fights going to sleep even though he is sleepy (yawning, rubbing his eyes)
