Can't catch a break!
I have another UTI! Two months in a row
The good news is that I'm pretty sure I O'd and I'm 2dpo (though I had the least amount of EWCM this month, which concerns me). Last month the UTI came right before O and I think I skipped it.
I woke up this am with that old familiar feeling and took one of those at-home UTI strip tests and it came out positive. Since my dr's are closed today, they're calling me in something (ttc-friendly) and I'll have to go for a culture next week. The dr. I spoke to today (not mine) said I may need to go on macrobid suppression and take one every time we BD. I had a friend who wasn't TTC have to do this.
Since I was young, if I got one, I'd get them for awhile. It's been years since my last one!
I'm  that I still have a chance this month.
If it doesn't happen, I'm not sure that I'm going to use OPKs next month. I used them for 12 days this month and did a whole lot of BD'ing. I think I'll just BD every other day and hope for the best. I think the combination of holding my pee for OPKs and BD'ing for a few days in a row is contributing to this!

i hope you feel better soon! how about using FMU with the digital OPK's or getting a CBEFM? glad you already O'd this month and hoping this month is it for you!!!!

I've gotten negatives with FMU and positives the same day hours later, so I don't really trust using FMU.

That $uck$. I have two consecutive UTIs last summer, they are no fun. If you don't get a BFP this month, pee after BDing. Don't hold your urine for four hours before taking an OPK - I've gotten + after 2 or 3. And keep cranberry juice in the house! Have a glass a day. That should help prevent them.
I don't remember where you live, but can you go to one of those walk-in places? I know there's one in Levittown on Hempstead Tpke. You may have to wait a bit, but you could be treated today.

Thanks. I got antibiotic yesterday--spoke to the on-call dr. in the group and she called it in. I'm feeling much better today. Funny thing was I drank a ton of cranberry juice and ate dried cranberries (not sure if they have same effect) this month. I was waiting 10 mins--instead of 20!--after BDing, but I guess I can't do that. I'm worried about the sperm not getting to where they need to go.
I'm so over this whole thing, not sure what my plan will be next month.
