What do you think is the ideal age b/w siblings?
Wondering what the best age b/w children are?
ETA- I didnt realize someone recently asked this same question.

Mine will be 2 years and approximately 10 days apart. Most would see that as ideal. Had I married younger and if I wasn't turning 40 this summer, I would have spaced them out further.

I have no experience with any other age difference but the 3 yrs between my two is fantastic, makes my life easier in many ways!

My brother and I are 16 months apart, and we had and still have a great relationship. So DS and DD will be 18 months apart, and I can't wait!

My kids will be 18 months apart.
I would have liked maybe a 3 year difference, but my fertility issues and age wouldn't allow that.

I dont think there is an ideal age....my sister and I are 2.5 years apart and are very close now but fought like h-e-l-l growing up. Whereas there is 8 years between my brother and I, we NEVER fought growing up and are very close today.

Ideally - 2 yrs.
Realistically, who knows 
I will say this - my stepdaughters are 6 years apart and for them, it was perfect! They never really fought, they had a great relationship, and now at ages 13 and 19 they are best friends.
My thought is this: Like everything else in life, whatever you make of it, it will either be perfect or a disaster.

ITA! My brother and I are 4 years apart, never fought and are close to this day! My sister and I are 6 years apart, fought like crazy when we were younger but are now the best of friends!!
For me, I'd like 3-4 years between each child!

I want ours to be around 2.5 years apart...when my mother heard this she said I was insane...she would love if we waited until DD was older enough to be fully verbal etc..But I am an only child for a reason so I told her to shush...

I agree. My brother and I are 8 years apart and personally I think THAT is ideal though givem my age I can't wait that long. So ideal for me is at least 3-4 years apart.

I wanted a 2 year age difference, like that between me and my brothers, but fertility issues intervened, and my kids are 4 years apart. I have no regrets, and see it as a blessing in disguise - the age difference is just perfect for us - Yael transitioned seamlessly into our family with little to no disruption because Alex was old enough to understand and be excited about her new role, and independent enough that it didn't rock her world. She adores her little sister and is such an amazing little helper to mommy and daddy.

I think about 3 years
We are going to start trying around DS 2nd birthday
I would ideally like him potty trained when a new baby comes. Would just make it easier for us I think
My sister is 11 years older than me and my brother is 9 years older than me (the doc told my mom she wouldnt be able to have any more babies//I was a surprise!)
My sister and I are SUPER close!
