So where is all of this hair growth...
I was promised upon taking pre-natal vitamins? I'm taking Rainbow light OTC. I was taking a multi before, but don't really notice anything different taking pre natals.
Everyone told me how much their hair and nails grew once they started taking them 
Is it b/c they are OTC? Does anyone notice an difference w/ their pre natals?

I take Citra Natal Assure....I haven't noticed anything with my hair. But I have noticed that my nails seem to be growing quicker and are a bit stronger....but not by much either.

I am on CitraNatal Assure and never noticed a change UNTIL I was pregnant. When I was pregnant my eyelashes literally doubled in length and thickness. It was crazy!! I enjoyed it for 9 months and then those luscious lashes were gone soon after my DD was born.

I felt like my hair and nails started growing the minute I was off bc, before I even started prenatals.
But maybe I'm just weird :)

I am on Womans one a day OTC with a DHA supplement. My hair will not STOP growing. I have only been taking the prenatals since January, and I cannot wait to get my hair cut for the second time in 2 months! My nails have always been short...bc I bite them  , but I have noticed them starting to grow and definitely getting harder and stronger.
No long and lushes eye lashes yet....hopefully soon!

I think part of the reason pregnant women experience hair growth and stronger nails is that cell regeneration (or generation?) is sped up during pregnancy. Though I'm sure the vitamins help--especially someone who hadn't been taking anything before.

I've been taking Rainbow Light too and I haven't noticed any difference at all. Then again, I wasn't really looking for it so who knows.

I take the Target brand prenatals and I definitely have noticed my nails growing longer and they are a lot stronger.

Hmm, Thanks, maybe it is the pregnancy thing that makes it grow?
I take the ones that say they are gentle on your stomach and I take them before bed. They are probably fine to take during the day. Maybe I'll try a different brand once these are done.
Should I be taking folic acid in addition to these or do all prenatals have enough in them for now? (prior to pregnancy)

I'm not pregnant and the 5 months that I've been taking prenatals, I did notice a change in my nail strength and shine and hair growth accelerated. This happened after a couple of months of taking my one a day prenatals.
It could be different with everyone.
