Hypothetical Question- If you could only save DH or DC, who would you save?
Lets say your house was on fire, boat was sinking, whatever it may be, and you could only save one person, who would it be? Your DH or you DC?

To answer my own question, I would without a doubt in my mind save my son!! I would also expect the same of my husband! Our son comes 1st, plain and simple!

My kids without a moment hesitation. I love my DH to pieces, but my kids, well they come first, I'd sacrifice my own life for them in a heartbeat.

DC for two reasons. One DH has a better chance of saving himself. Two if something were to happen to both DH and I because I tried to save him, my DC would have to grow up without either parent.

My Kids- I have discussed this with DH and have made him promise me if we are ever in dire straits he has to get the kids to safety first - he said no problem ....he then went on to say that there was more chance of me being able to save myself so he would get the kids first.
