Having a bad day.
I just have these overwhelming feelings of sadness and frustration. That combined with fighting the urge to test (and losing, BFN) at 8dpo have made this a bad day. This whole process is just so frustrating. And I don't even know why today is so much worse than other days. Of course I'm sad because I'm not pregnant yet but why does today feel unbearable while yesterday I was fine?
Thanks fo listening/reading. I think I just needed to vent.

Re: Having a bad day.
Everyone has days like that with no particular reason why. Hoping tomorrow is a better day for you. Plus, you are only a few days away from being able to test. Try and keep positive.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough day! These type of days just really stink...we've all been there and the frustration of this process can really get to you on some days! Try to hang in there. Is there anything you can do to get your mind off of it for a little while? How about a MINI shopping spree? I capatilized mini only b/c if we went shopping everytime we got frustrated with TTC we'd all be broke! lol

Re: Having a bad day.
I broke down on Sunday. Its very normal to feel like this. It does get very frustrating for us. We all want to have a baby and its just so out of our control.
Just know that we are all here for you. I love this board because we all support eachother through the good times and the rough times.
Maybe this emotional breakdown is a sign or pregnancy? You never know. I am still waiting for AF. I am on CD 34 and still AF. I have had all the symptoms of AF coming. low back pain and cramping. I am just ready to start this month and try again.
huggies for you.

Re: Having a bad day.
Its such a hard process, but you HAVE to stop testing so early!!! 8 dpo is WAAAAYYY to early. Seeing the BFN after BFN is only going to make you feel worse...when in reality you could be pregnant and the test just isn't picking it up yet. I always feel better when I don't test b/c then you are still hopeful that you will get a BFP. Seeing negative test after negative test just makes you depressed!!! (not to mention must be costing you a fortune).
Good luck and feel better...your time will come soon!

Re: Having a bad day.
We all have days like this!! I go from feeling really positive to feeling like I will be in this same position in a year from now!
What makes this process so frustrating is the unknown.. and the patience and waiting that's involved! You can't just pick up and move forward, you have to wait for a new cycle to begin!
Try to remain positive!! This will happen!!

Re: Having a bad day.
I know EXACTLY how you feel! I've had good days and bad days, too. This past Saturday was definitely a bad day for me. My only advice would be to turn to your DH to get you through it (and of course, us!!! )!
8DPO is still VERY early...don't lose hope!!!

i totally agree - dont test so early - it just gets you down when its really meaningless cause its too early to know!!! you will be much happier if you just wait until you know the results can be real!!

Re: Having a bad day.
I think it's normal to have waves of frustration in this TTC process. Some days I am great and excited about trying again while others, I am jealous and wish I could have what all my other friends have taken for granted. This whole thing sucks!
Don't want to be a Debbie Downer BUT you're going to have a worse day if you get a BFP and it turns out to be a chemical. Try to wait until missed AF. It's not worth the early knowing.

I have felt like this the past week or so. I decided to start doing things for myself- make things better for me and preparing my body for a baby- hitting the gym, losing weight etc. It is normal to feel this way. I keep thinking of the end result a baby...
I feel so guilty- I have been doing the opposite! I keep eating junk food figuring I'll probably be pregnant soon anyway I know, it's stupid .......
