Hi,
I think I have some EWCM, I noticed it after I used the bathroom ( not #1  sorry TMI)... so I used an OPK from the dollar store to see if I am ovulating.
The directions on the kit say that if the line is light you are not ovulating.
My line was light. So I guess the EWCM doesn't count?? I still had some when I went to the bathroom again... I did #1...
help!!
Does the light line mean I will be ovulating soon?? Should we BD tonight? I would love to have a blizzard baby!!!

You can see EWCM a few days before O. Did you hold it in for 4 hours before you used the OPK? If not, that OPK isn't valid. You should hold it in for 4 hours and use the OPK in the afternoon for accurate results. The lightness/darkness of the line mean nothing until the test line is as dark or darker than the control line, which is a positive OPK.
That said, you will probably O in the next few days and should get to BDing! Good luck!

Should I do it with FMU tomorrow???

No, FMU only really works with the CBEFM I believe. For line tests you should really only use them in the afternoon. The LH hormone that the OPK test for peaks in the afternoon and needs to be built up in your system for the test to come up positive.

a light line on an OPK doesnt mean anything as far as when you will O. you will see various shades of "not positive" lines before your LH surge.
as far as the ewcm goes - what cd are you on?
also have you BD'd recently?? i constantly mistake DH "leftovers" for EWCM - its really hard to tell the difference sometimes!!
