I have to say (shoe related)...
I really love Payless shoes for Ava. We have a few pairs of Stride Rites and other brands, but seriously, the Payless sneakers and shoes hold up until she grows out of them and she wears the heck out of them. Granted not all kids can fit into them, but for her, she has a fairly wide foot and they fit her great. Just thought I'd put it out there for anyone who is looking for affordable shoes and sneakers!

Payless shoes are fantastic. They hold up so well. Every year we've bought DS the little construction boots. When they say waterproof, they mean it-- he can play out in the snow for an hour or so, come inside and take the shoes off, socks are completely dry and warm.

actually Payless owns Stride Rite.
Payless bought SR and put them both under the umbrella of "Collective Brands, Inc."
