Wedding related-Do I say something??

Sooo we received our professional wedding photos and I really do love them. We hired a photojournalist rather than a traditional photographer so it's 90% candids and they are wonderful...HOWEVER....there are some pretty basic pictures he didn't take (like any pictures of the groom with his parents/family) and it's really beginning to bother me. There are some pics of his parents together-but none of them with DH or me....I also gave him a list of must have group photos and he took 2 of them. I also had to drag him to take ONE picture of me and my mom. That's all he took is ONE picture of me and my mom.
We do have a million amazing pics from family and friends, but this is our wedding day...and more and more it's bothering me that these pretty basic pictures were missed.
Do I say anything?? Is it even worth it?

I definitely would say something! Especially if you gave him a list and he only did 2 photos from it!

You can mention it but at this point it's too late to get the pics. KWIM!

I think all you can do is negociating on $$ if that's what you want.

Also true photojournalism would not have "paused" photos of DH and his parents like a portrait. Although a lof of photographers try to do both (journalism and "traditional").

Doesn't hurt to mention it. Looking back, my photographer missed a lot of shots I wanted too. I never said anything, but kinda wish I had.

The same thing happened to me...although almost all of my photos were horrible. Getting my materials after the wedding was a nightmare too. Perhaps we had the same photographer.
