My Sophie is gone.
I haven't posted on this board in a while, but I could really use some support from the pet lovers out there...
I lost my dog Sophie early Sunday morning 
She was totally fine. 100%. NO sign whatsoever that anything was wrong.
But when we woke up on Sunday morning she was gone. She died at some point during the night.
I am absolutely devastated. I've been a mess since it happened. This was my first "baby" - I rescued her in 2003 and she has been by my side for absolutely everything since then.
I just don't know what I'm going to do without her.

I am so sorry for the pain you are going through. I cant even imagine what would happen if I went to bed and then woke up to find my Sushi Girl gone out of the clear blue. I'm so very sorry

OH God.. I know what that's like to wake up and your dog be gone.. it's an awful awful feeling.. and seeing it is even worse.. I am so sorry honey.. Stay strong.. I know the holidays will be hard.. I wish I had more comforting words for you.. I am sooooo sorry..
