After coming off BCP, have you.........
lost weight? gained weight? broke out?
Just curious what I can possibly expect. I have been on the pill for 10 years  but I remember gaining so much 'puff' (water weight) when I went on it.

only thing that happened to me after going off the pill was getting knocked up 2 weeks later!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing really changed when I stopped BCP...I didn't really break out, but now I get 1 or 2 pimples right before AF, which didn't happen when I was on bcp.

I gained 7lbs and break out on my shoulders and on my jaw line. I never had this many pimples before.

Ugh I wish, off for 6 mos and def not knocked up yet !
Definitely broke out big time, mostly on my chin. I am still trying to get my face clear.

I have PCOS so i feel more bloated and my skin is breaking out and oily. I never had any problems when I went ON the BC.

I also have PCOS and gained weight. I also noticed I was emotional.
I plan on going back on until DH and I are really ready to start trying because I will need meds to regulate my af.

after 10 years i came off the pill in october of last year. my skin got really bad at first but now is starting to level out. now i only get breakouts from ovulation to when i get my period.
my weight didn't change, no gain and no loss.
the biggest difference i experienced was ovulation pain. its so bad that i can tell exactly when i'm ovulating. i had an internal sonogram just to make sure nothing was wrong and thankfully everything is fine. my dr said i'm just one of those lucky woman who know when they're o-ing which will be good when we are ready to TTC.

Thanks to the OP for posting this! I was about to myself. I have always heard that you lose weight when you go off the pill, but apparently that might be an old wives tale! Seems like the majority of girls actually gain a little. I was curious about this as well since I will prob be going off BC this fall. I'm hoping it won't affect me too much, being that I've only been on the pill for 5 years. Here's hoping!

I really can't say that there was a big difference when I went off (after ~10 yrs). No real weight fluctuation or breakouts. It takes awhile for AF to normalize (still really hasn't even 8 months later). But I definitely feel soreness during ovulation and menstrual pains during AF. Never had those while on OCP.

My b00bs look a little a smaller. I guess I was carrying some water weight there, but the scale hasn't changed.
I got a big nasty pimple the first month, but this month my skin has been fine.
But I've definitely been more emotional. I tear up at commercials!
