Belly Button Rings?

Did everyone take it out or leave it in?
& if you took it out, when did you do it, sooner rather then later?

I think I took mine out when I was about 4 mo. pregnant with DS. Once my belly started to grow and it looked like my skin was stretching. I never put it back in.

26 weeks still in and fine. Check it every day. Doctors check it every month. I have plastic flexible maternity rings/bars if needed but so far, I'm good. Should I require a c-section, both would have to come out. So when I get close, close, I may take it out.

Other people have different stories so you have to watch it and do what you feel. Some holes will close, some will not. Everyone is different. I'd like to keep it after baby so I'm keeping my ring in as long as I can and as long as it causes no problems. So far so good.

I'm thinking I'm just going to take mine out for good soon. I'm only 11 weeks now, but the bloat, bump is starting to show and I want to take it out before I really start to show. I feel like I'm past the point of really wanting it anymore, but DH really likes it, so I just haven't actually done it yet

Take it out sooner than later. With DD I waited til the very last and the hole actually split and I had to take it out. Then after delivery, I actually had to have it repierced.

They make maternity belly rings...do a search. If you want to preserve the hole, you might want to check into them.

But don't wait until it's too late!

Mine was out at about 16 weeks. As my belly was stretching it was itching and annoying me

I took mine out at 13 weeks. I was scared of the hole ripping. I've been trying to slip my belly button ring in every week just to keep the hole open. I'm glad I took it out because my belly has been so ichy and the skin is stretching in the hole. Def take it out sooner then later if you choice too

Almost 21 weeks and it's still in. My friend left hers in the whole pregnancy and had no issues. I may get a maternity ring, but I'm not in a rush.

i took mine out around 11 weeks.. i was soo afraid it would leave a huge hole..

I wore an acrylic one that grew with me. I thought I would be allowed to wear it in delivery. I went into labor and ended up with a c-section but had to remove it while I was having contractions - I never put it back. I plan on having the hole "fixed" during the long awaited tummy tuck that happens after child #2.

With my DS I wore my belly ring thru my entire pregnancy. I had a c-section and all they did was tape it down. I am 19 weeks along now and my ring is still in and i have no plans on taking it out.
