If you buy a gift for your boss...???
What did you buy them?
Im pretty friendly with my boss, and would like to get her a gift.
Last year I bought all bath and body stuff, robe, slippers, bath pillows, candles- that kind of stuff...
This year Im lost...
I cant order anything- since technically I should be giving her the gift tomorrow...

There are a few of us here that chip in. Last year we bought her a coach bag. This year it was a gift certificate and some loungewear stuff from the Gap. What about a gift certificate for a mani/pedi or spa treatment?

Some gift ideas for a boss, depending on your budget and their likes:
leather gloves
cashmere scarf (or non-cashmere!)

This year I got them (I have more than 1) bottles of booze and ties depending on the person. Last year some got ties, some got cufflinks.

We all chipped in and got our boss a digital picture frame, and put pictures of us "working" in it.

I did something similar - got them 2 bags of DD Coffee each, OXO travel mug, silver coffee scooper, and chocolate covered spoons.

We got one of our bosses a donation to his favorite charity. And the other boss we bought a GC for. We all chipped in.

Re: If you buy a gift for your boss...???
My bosses are two men that are my dads age. Its hard enough to buy gifts for my own dad so i don't even try to get them anything personal. I get them a nice bottle of wine and/or a box of Godiva

Re: If you buy a gift for your boss...???
My bosses like to drink, so I got my manager a nice Bailey's set with a chiller, waterford glasses and a bottle of original Bailey's. My other boss likes port wine, so I got him a bottle of 40 yr aged (in oak) Tawny port.
My last job they were coffee freaks, so I got a desktop single coffee machine with a variety of coffees and a nice mug.
