I think I saw it at 6 weeks and heard it around 11ish?
I always get confused tho which is supposed to come first

I saw the heartbeat at my first sono which was at 7/8 weeks. Some people hear the heartbeat then, but I didn't. I think it depends on the machine at your doctor's office. I first heard the heartbeat with a doppler at my 11 week appointment.

I heard it at my first sono at 7 weeks. Then again at 9 weeks.
The first sono was kinda an emergency cause I was spotting so they just wanted to make sure everything was OK.

It depends on the equipment at the Dr's office. This time I saw & heard it (barely) at 5w2d. Last time I saw it at 5w4d and heard it at 7w or so.

Some people hear it early, but I think a lot don't. My doc said I can go in this week if I want, but that depending on the position of the little bean she may not be able to see much.
She basically said that it could be good if we see/hear something, but that if we don't, it wouldn't mean there was a problem.....I decided to just wait a couple more weeks, so I have my first sono in two weeks.

I went at 5w6d and did not see a HB and then again at exactly 7w and saw it!
I actually didnt hear it until my 16 week appointment but thats because they just didnt try to listen to it prior.

We heard and saw it at 6 weeks on the dot (it was very faint 101).....
5 weeks is way too early to see it, don't worry....
