Going to the Doctor Today..UPDATED
I have an appt with my OBGYN today. I'm obviously going to tell her that I'm in my sixth month of trying and nada...You think I should press the point that I want tests done if she doesn't want to do it right now and wait for 6 more months???
Ok, so I just got back....she was great, she is sending me to Dr. Sung and getting full bloodwork done as well as an SA for DH, she does NOT think I have endo, as another dr a while ago thought I did and turns out this same dr that told me I had a tilted Uterus was wrong about that too bc I don't have that as well...Anyway I feel a little relieved that she was open to doing all the tests and was really calm and not a panicer at all which I liked as well

Definitely. If you feel like there is a chance something might be off you should definitely ask for the tests. At the 6 month mark we also had a SA for DH. Good luck!

Your regular Dr. can run the blood work and the HSG.

Tell your dr your concerns. At this point your dr will probably order an SA and blood work. Good luck!!!!!!

I'd say that if the tests are something that you want, then yes, you should definitely press for them. Why wait if you really feel like something is up?? Good luck!

I went to my regular gyn after 3 months and a RE after 6 months of BFN's. I don't think you are too early to want to pursue some testing. If your gyn tries ot discourage it and tells you to wait a year, don't listen. Go with your gut instinct and get some tests.

I would tell her you want to move forward with getting tests done. If she wants you to wait a year, find someone else who will listen more to your concerns. Best of luck!
