My Story
As promised, here are my symptoms leading up to my BFP.
My last AF was on November 29th. Usually about 2 days before I O, and for about 2 weeks after, my nips KILL! But this time, they started hurting around a week later than normal. So, I figured I O'd late.
The day AF was supposed to arrive, and for 2 days after, I kept feeling like AF was there! I would run to the bathroom thinking "ok, there is she. On to next month." But, every time I would go to the bathroom AF would be MIA. I also had increased CM, which never happens when AF comes (usually bone dry...tmi)
When I hit 2 days late, I tested and got a BFN. I kept looking at the test all day just to be sure (I don't recommend this because you'll drive yourself insane, like I did). I didn't test at 3 days late b/c I didn't want to be disappointed. But, at 3 days late DH and I went food shopping. In the store, I actually had to take my coat off b/c It felt like it weighed 100 pounds. I was dragging arse through the store and DH actually had to push the cart for me. Then when we got home, I went to sleep for 3 hours on the couch!!! Needless to say I was tired. The other strange thing were the cramps. I usually get cramps the day AF arrives...and they are pretty consistent throughout the day. But this time, I only felt them when I would stand up/walk around after sitting for a while. And, they only lasted for about 1-3 minutes. Then they'd go away. I figured I'd go to bed that night and AF would be there to greet me in the morning.
So, the next day (4 days late), I woke up and ran (literally) to the bathroom to see if AF had arrived. NOTHING! So, I POAS. I saw the test line pop up and then BAM! There it was...my BFP! I almost fell over. I didn't tell DH until after we got home from work. He was beyond surprised.
That's my story! Since then, I've felt pulling in my lower abdomen and the cramps continue on and off. Other than that, I feel great! I went to the doctor 5 5 days later and he confirmed. I go for a sonogram on the 18th to confirm how many weeks I am and my exact due date. The doctor is estimating that I am due September 5th.
I also just want to say thank you to ALL OF YOU!!! I was totally unaware of what went into the TTC process and how my body even worked! Thank you all for answering my questions and listening. I hope you all get your BFP very very very soon!!!
