Mine went back to Macy's Bridal when we got back from our honeymoon. The refund I got from it went towards the down payment on our house.

I threw it away about 3 years after I got married and my husband brings it up all the time. He uses it as an example when he is telling people how I do not have a sentimental bone in my body. This August will be my 10 year anniversary and he still ain't over it
P.S. He burnt a whole in it during the reception when he was taking off my garter with a cigar in his mouth

Mine is hanging from our bedroom door in the plastic that it was in when I picked it up from alterations. I'd like to get it preserved one day when I have the time & money.

Mine's preserved and boxed in the attic. I was going to make it into a Christening dress for my DD, but never had the time... I have no clue what I will eventually do with it.

Cleaned and preserved and sitting in my DH's old bedroom. I'll bust it out and make my niece try it on when she gets engaged some day (she's only 18). I'd love for her to wear it on her wedding day, but at the very least it should be fun watching her try it on and have that engaged and excited glow!

The first one got thrown out long ago.
The second one - well was pink and a cocktail dress. I wore it for the cruise on the yacht for my 40th b-day. Now it is in the closet.

I kind of have forgotten all about it. If I could sell it for even like $200 I totally would, but it's too much of a hassel I think.
That's ok mine is still sitting in the dry cleaners since my 2005 wedding!!!!!

Long story short...The zipper went off track 2 hours before the ceremony. Tried to get a cleaner to to fix but they wouldn't touch it. So my coordinator did some quick thinking and saved the day. I spent the entire evening with the dress safety pinned to my undergarments and my shawl covering it all up.
I called Macy's the next day from the airport and told them what happened. They told me to bring it on when we got back. It took 3 weeks to get all of my money back including the alterations. Later found out the zipper was faulty bc it happened to another gown.

I donated my dress to a place that resells designer gowns and the profits go to Sheltering Arms Childrens Service. Sheltering Arms provides children with a variety of services (including daycare, education, foster care, adoption, and health care programs) to help them grow and develop their full potential.
In addition I was able to get a tax write off for the price of the dress!

I had mine preserved the day after the wedding. I went back to the cleaner to inspect that they cleaned it as well as they could.
I consider selling it now & again - god knows I probably won't do anything else with it.

ive always said that im gonna have a wedding dress party, that way, we can all say "but i got to wear it again" but i dont think that will ever happen.
i just put mine on a few days ago- i mustve put on about 5-10lbs since the wedding, but after a long fight with the zipper, it still kinda fits- haha
well, i sent it to the cleaners to get cleaned ... im sure the Next time i put it on, i will look like a stuffed sausage... lol
