Deer Park 75 x 100 $8700 w/o STAR and I keep asking myself, how is that possible??? We are closing on the house on 10/15 and the taxes really made us question buying the house.

2400 sq ft.- 4 bdrm, 3 bth- all new
i'm still in shock cause it's not even a good school district, so where is the money going??? but it was worth it to us for the land size and we'd send kids to private schoool no matter what town we lived in, so...

$8600 (we are greiving them, we are the highest in the neighborhood and our house is pretty much the same!)
about a half acre, 3 bedroom high ranch in E. Setauket.

Hubby and I visited NC recently, and could not believe the amount of house you get for the money, and the taxes we were quoted for an area we liked was $1,200. Cannot WAIT to move down there.

Our taxes here in Chesapeake VA ar $2500. Our house is 2400sq. The taxes on LI are part of the reason we moved. We where paying almost $8000.

Dunellen, NJ and my taxes are close to $8k
BUT some of my neighbor's are lower. My house is higher bc of the renovations.

You're going to hate me.... I live in Orange COunty, So Cali and my taxes are $2000.00 a year! I have lived in the same house for many years so thats why mine are so low.
I live in a 2200 sq ft house on a large lot too.
Phyl, I wanna see pics of your house! I am picturing the house from Beverly Hills 90210!
