I need your opinion...pick one...
We getting a fireplace for our living room. I'm having trouble deciding which one to get. Our floors are a light wood and the walls will be a tan/beige color. One wall (where the fireplace will be) will be darker than the other ones. Which one would you choose?
White
Cherry
or Oak

I love the Cherry but I think the Oak will compliment your decor more.

all are nice but I think Cherry would look to off next to a light oak floor. I voted for oak but white would look nice as well. And I have so much Cherry and it shows all the dust so fast!

My advice is to do the floors and paint the room first and then decide (btwn the white and the cherry)!

Personally I like the white! are those gas or electric? THey are all pretty and I dont think you will go wrong with any of the three.

Do you have moldings on your ceilings? If your molding is white I think you can do a white fireplace.
I prefer the look of cherry over the oak but sounds like oak would match your room better.

They are electric.
I'm so torn because I love the cherry but I don't know how it will look on a lighter wood floor.
No, I don't think there is molding on the ceiling.

I voted white. I'm not sure how dark the tan beige walls will be but we have a dark tan color on the walls and a white fire place and I love the way it looks....oh yea we have oak wood floors as well

I have a light and dark wood combo in my house so I voted for the cherry wood. I love the look and esp that your walls will be a beige color as well, cherry will look beautiful!

My parents had light wood floors and cherry cabinets in thier kitchen and it looked great....
I like the contrast.
I think if the oak fireplace and the floors don't match exactly it will look more weird.

I like the white one for a living room. But that, IMO, depends on the color of your walls (if they're white then white is certainly no good IMO) and decor.

I like the Oak better and from someone who uses a fireplace very often - do not get white - it will get so dirty, so quickly from the soot, wood chips, smoke, etc.

I like the white! We have a similar colors ( light wood floors and beige walls) and we have white floor and crown moulding up. I have been thinking about getting one as well and would get it in the white color. Plus I like the style of the white one much more then the other two.
