Ugh, my heart is breaking...
So as some of you know, my DH is on catastrophe duty for work. He will be there for 2 weeks, possibly more.
Maddy is so used to DH waking her up in the morning that when I have to wake her up REALLY early for work she cries, "DADDY!!!" She is constantly crying for him. I'm shocked because I thought at 21 months that she wouldn't notice so much I WAS WRONG!!!
I let her talk to him on the phone, but she is still upset.

I know that even when my DH is gone for a couple days for work all my kids are upset and I didn't think that my 19 month old would notice, but she def. does and it is heartbreaking.

awwwwwwwwww that would totally melt (and break) my heart too
I know this doesnt help the situation, but just as a thought, maybe take little video clips of her looking for daddy and talk about daddy to her, etc. and show your hubby when he gets back.  (but dont tell him about it, or he'll be sad too )

doesn't it break your heart! DH goes away for business sometimes and I don't think about me missing him anymore, its all about DS. They know enough to notice they are gone, but don't know when they will return.
