This! So happy to see that great video! She looks so focused and love that big smile! I hope things work out with St. Mary's. It sounds like it would be a great place for her to finish recovering.

She is so cute!! We have been praying hard for her recovery and I am so happy to see her on her way! My aunt was CNA at St. Marys for years and loved it there. They do wonderful things!

We've been working on getting Lila to take a bottle. We usually use playtex ventaires with her but it's a very wide nipple and she wasn't latching on well. The S&S therapist also tried the nursette type bottle that they give to newborns in the hospital, and that didn't work well either. She had an idea to get a special needs bottle from NICU called a Haberman. It's used typically for kids with a cleft palate. It's a really long, narrow nipple and depending on which way you hold it, has different flows- slow, medium, fast. You can also squeeze the nipple to express a little into the mouth. We started off with 10cc because she had taken 5cc as of Thursday and she figured we'll just increase the amount we give her by about 5cc's at a time as long as she tolerates it. So like I said, yesterday morning, she did 10cc. She went all the way up to 20cc by the end of the day. Today.... She took 60cc which is about 2oz!!!
Tomorrow is DD1's birthday and we have a room blocked here in the hospital, thanks to a very good friend and the child life office here who arranged it. We'll be able to give her a little family party and we should be able to bring Lila over for a few minutes since it's just down the hall.
Other than that, she has an eeg scheduled for tomorrow evening and an MRI possibly on Monday.
