I just clicked ona link on AOL last night that said the "pregnant man is getting death threats".
I tried to find the article but could not. It was on Parentdish.com I think.
Someone pointed out in the comments that they are trying to create sensationalism by saying "pregnant man" when he is anatomically a woman. And by doing so they are involving the world in such a "private" thing and therefore will get comments and judgements based on that.
I have to say I agree, they are asking for people to talk no doubt with all the publicity crap.

I mean, if she wants to be a man, more power to her. BUT, she is NOT a man yet. I've never met a man with a vagina and uterus. (although, the way some acted, it did make it questionable)
I also feel like- if you want to be a man, then you forfeit that ability to carry a child. That's not really any of my business, but since i feel like this story has been soooo in our faces- opinions are going to form.
but seriously, she's a woman. A woman with a mustache- not the first and certainly not the only.

While I don't care how he/she refers to him/herself, I do care that the news is being reported incorrectly.
If I were to go live as a man and have children, it doesn't mean that a man can get pregnant.
I don't think it's earthshattering news that women can get pregnant and carry a child. It certainly deserves a backseat to the CA fires. If due to medical intervention a biological male can carry a child, by all means front page...

As I understand it he wrote the 1st article for The Advocate during the first pregnancy, and have written a book as well, so he and his wife are SEEKING the media attention, and he does consider himself a 'pregnant man.'
Likewise, I consider myself a Brazilian supermodel, but it ain't necessarily so...

I agree. I cant believe some of the threats that they'vfe been getting- some people are truly horrible. I can't see caring to that point- to tell someone that theyre not worthy of living?!  But, the way the news advertises and reports it- just ridiculous.
