How many years apart did you have your children?

I know this might be a crazy question. Our little girl is turning 10 months and I can't wait to have another baby. My dh wants to space them 3 years apart. So I wanted to ask how far apart your babies are and how it worked out for you?! Did they get along? Was it too crazy? Was it easy? Im so undecided! TIA

DS will be 21 months when DS #2 is here.

I'm currently pregnant with #2. When he is born my kids will be 18 months apart.

I would have liked to have them maybe 3 years apart, but age and fertility issues do not make that possible.

My kids are just over 18 months apart.

It's hard now, but I am hoping that it will get easier as DD (1 month) gets older. We planned it this way so they would be close in age

Mine are 22 months apart and it has been FANTASTIC on so many levels...i got preggo when DS#1 was 14 months old

2 1/2 and it is the perfect spacing for my family...

2.5 years between DS1 and DS2, 3.5 years between DS2 and DD. The longer gap was definitely easier to manage, but I worry DD won't be as close with her brothers because of it.

My boys are 23 months apart. In the beginning it was hard as DS1 was still a baby himself. I love how close they are and will be

ETA: DH and his brother are 6 years apart. They are best friends and the age difference has no impact on their relationship.

Mine are 2 yrs and 2 weeks. We started trying for #2 when DS turned one.

I liked that I was still in the baby frame of mind when DD came along. As a teacher I see a lot of 2 yr spacing and it allows them to be close.

I had 2 personal reasons for this spacing. DH and his brother are 3 yrs apart and not at all close. So I wanted them to be closer in age. Although I think they would have this relationship if they were 1 or 10 yr apart, but it still bothered me.

I also knew I wasn't getting any younger and knew my mom had a hard time having more after me, in fact I am an only, so I wanted to get moving in case we couldn't or that there were problems.

So far so good with our 2 yr spacing

we got pregnant with number 2 when our DS turned one year. they will be 20 months aparth

exactly 2 years. They are May 6 and May 9. I loved the age difference and though it was perfect for us. The only crazy thing is the week of their birthdays! It is also our anniversary and mothers day that week too!

DD#1 and DS are 17.5 months apart
DS and DD#2 are 15 months apart

I had 3 kids in 2 years and 8 months....BUT it was NOT planned that way

My babies are over 16 1/2 months apart. I kept telling people they were 18 months apart until I did the math on DS's second birthday

I love how they are close in age. It's amazing to watch the bond between them and the baby conversations they have with each other. However, there are many times where I am ready to pull my hair out, especially when they both want attention at the same time. I wouldn't change a thing though. Each day is getting easier as they get older.

they are 2 years and 8 months apart...just what we wanted. Still close in age but DS is more independent versus if he was an infant

25 months apart and I think its perfect. They get along as well as can be expected for their ages- 1 and 3.

20 months apart. My dd was 11 months when i got pregnant with ds. I didnt find it difficult at all. and i wouldnt change the spacing out at all. I thought i was perfect.

My oldest was 5 yrs. 2 months when my youngest was born.
