And yes. I am angry. The calls are relentless. 2x a day on home and cell. I am on the do not call list.

So annoying. Has anyone else noticed a huge uptick in spam calls lately? I mean it's like 4-5 a day for me lately, maybe more, and I also put my number on the do not call list.

Yes! It's either a 315 number or the area code and first 3 numbers are identical to my phone number.
Lisa from the warranty department is clearly a robot. I said I don't talk to robots and it actually replied- I assure you I'm a real live person. Yet it still wasn't comprehending that I did not need a warranty. I was trying to get to a live person to tell them to take me off their list bc I was on the do not call list.

I get calls on the house landline all.day.long. and up until 9pm at night.
sometimes i have my son answer and go "hello..hello..."and i hear them ask "is your mommy or daddy there and then he hangs up. hahahahaha
one time my MIL answered and said oh can you hold on on a minute, and then put the phone down, went in the basement for a few min to do laundry and she came back they were still there and then she hung up.

Yes that is why i always linger near the answering machine to hear if they say anything when it's a number i don't recognize. Just in case.
Generally they just hang up though.

Its an automated call I get 2x a day. You cant get off it because its "spam".
I'm just REALLY annoyed and wanted to vent :)

I am CONSTANTLY getting calls from numbers that start with my number. It's so F*CKING ANNOYING b/c I actually started blocking them until I realized that those numbers actually belong to someone (a co-worker tried to call me and I already had her # blocked due to a spam call). How do they do it? They use an app or something? It drives me nutsssssssssssssssss!
First "123-1234" calls. I block it. Then "123-1235" calls. I block it. Then "123-1236" calls. What the actual effffff.
