So annoying. Has anyone else noticed a huge uptick in spam calls lately? I mean it's like 4-5 a day for me lately, maybe more, and I also put my number on the do not call list.
Yes! It's either a 315 number or the area code and first 3 numbers are identical to my phone number.
Lisa from the warranty department is clearly a robot. I said I don't talk to robots and it actually replied- I assure you I'm a real live person. Yet it still wasn't comprehending that I did not need a warranty. I was trying to get to a live person to tell them to take me off their list bc I was on the do not call list.
I am CONSTANTLY getting calls from numbers that start with my number. It's so F*CKING ANNOYING b/c I actually started blocking them until I realized that those numbers actually belong to someone (a co-worker tried to call me and I already had her # blocked due to a spam call). How do they do it? They use an app or something? It drives me nutsssssssssssssssss!
First "123-1234" calls. I block it. Then "123-1235" calls. I block it. Then "123-1236" calls. What the actual effffff.
Yep, it's ridiculous.
I don't necessarily answer when it's a number I don't recognize, but I fumble around and frantically search my purse for my phone when it's ringing. I live far away from all of my family so want to make sure I'm available. Then, inevitably, it's one of these stupid calls.

I also don't answer my door ever.

I run a business. I have to answer calls :(
I usually answer because my daughter has a bunch of specialists and therapists who call and I answer just in case. But I stopped answering 315 and numbers similar to mine.

I have noticed more calls on both the cell and home #, but only once (maybe) twice a day.
I get the ones that say "Hi this is so-and-so from cardholder services, can you hear me ok?" and then when you respond a live person gets on the phone.
I never answer the phone when I don't recognize the #. If I'm in a silly mood I'll answer and play for a minute then hang up.
I do have a bunch of #'s blocked on my phone, but I guess that doesn't stop them.
