HOTEL RESERVATION MADE

WOO HOO!!!!

i have just pulled the trigger on the hotel reservation for DS's Marine graduation, next month.

i can't believe it's almost here!!!!

with every passing week, i see that my son made the right decision in wanting to become a marine. don't know if anyone remembers that i posted and cried like a baby when he gave his answer to "why the marines?" he said: "I must be honest with myself. I haven't always given life, or my mom, my best effort. I hope that the Marines can help challenge me to be a better man and son."

every week i get a letter, or two, from the boy. in every letter, he says how tough things are, but he's always positive and quite funny. each letter makes me laugh and cry and miss him so much. every letter also shows me how quickly he's growing up.

i'm so proud of the young man he's becoming and i dearly miss the little boy he used to be. i'm crying as i type this and i cannot imagine how much crying i will be doing come Family Day and Graduation.
