How to get rid of bales of hay. Put them out with the Garbage?
I have 2 big bales of hay from last fall (used as decoration) and I need to get rid of them. Do they just go to the curb with the trash? Should I put them out with the lawn clippings? They're heavy, so I don't want to move them more than once.
I'm town of oyster bay, and I've looked on their site, and still am unsure.

I've put them out with the lawn stuff in black garbage bags.

If you haven't thrown these out yet can you please PM me! My neighbor runs a dog rescue organization and uses these. Sounds weird but they have a great purpose. I can see if she needs them!

She can have them if she wants them, but they've been in the dirt on the side of my house since last October. They've been through some rough weather and they're not that healthy looking anymore.
