Christening venue queens or Western Nassau?
I know this has been posted a million times but I am hoping someone can name a place I haven't thought of lol
I am not opposed to Italian but since we do every family party at an Italian place I think it would be nice to try something different. I am in Queens but would travel into Nassau a little...thanks~
60 adults 15 kids approx.

New Hyde park inn has rooms that fit your size, too.

We had dd1's christening at Donovan's in bayside and dd2's at piccola bussola in mineola. Happy with both places and we had roughly the same number of people as you plan to. Good luck!

Queens county farm. The place they have their weddings/parties is really nice. I was shocked lol and it's totally not your typical verdis, russos.

Interesting! They have a caterer and everything? Would that work in January? Is it outside?

You would have to bring your own caterer though. I can try and find pics of my bfs cousins wedding that was held there. They were extremely happy with it and from what I saw in pics, it looked great

I'm in Queens. I had one christening at Douglaston Manor -- they did a great job and we were given a nice size room. We had the same size party as you expect. We had our other christening at The Inn at New Hyde Park. They did a nice job as well. We had over 100 people and the room was a bit cramped. But still did a nice job!

does anyone have pricing for the Inn at New Hyde Park? I know it is a a popular wedding venue so does that mean it is 100 pp or do they have a shower/christening type package? thanks

my sister had my nephew's christening there, they were in a lower level room with a dance floor, they just brought an i-pod and hooked it up. They had about 70-80 people. I don't know how much she paid but it def wasn't $100pp.

We just looked at Filomena's in Franklin Square and they offer a lot of food and I think the pkg was about $44 pp
We also looked at Davenport Press and they were priced at about 28.95 and the room was soooo nice. They just didn't have any of the dates we were interested in.

Don't know if this is too far east, but The Davenport Press is awesome. we had my grandma's 80th there and it was fantastic. Then my friends had a small wedding there and it was one of the best weddings I've been to. Great food, staff is on point, and both parties ran over and they didn't care, let us stay, continued w coffee service, etc. Just a really great place.
