Christening place in nassau or queens
Does anyone know a decent place to have a christening that is under $40 a person? Or if I have it at the knights of columbus do you know a decent place to cater from?

I always tell people to check out Sergios in Massapequa.
This was a few years ago, but I believe they still charge around $20 pp and will work with you around alcohol.
I also like the fact that they offer guests a bunch of options and not your standard 1 or 3 choices.

The other location in RVC would be too small.

we had DD1 christening at Donovans in Bayside and DD2's at Piccola Bussola in MIneola. Happy with both, though Donovans was cheaper

I had 1st bday at the american legion in oceanside for less than that. Food was very good and really nice room . No caterer needed
Also had ds2 at da nicolas in hewlett for less than $40

I was going to recommend Angelina's in Lynbrook and Da Nicola in Hewlett.
Also, Friendlier in Woodmere.
Frank's Steaks for a lunch menu (under 40 people in the little room fit) is under 40! Awesome food

If there's any affiliation to the Jonathan's in Huntington, I don't think it's going to be under $40/pp, especially with booze.
My BF and I just went there for dinner and spent almost $200.
However, the food was excellent!

I highly recommend Hofstra University Club. 'loved the food, the place, and the service. We had the Christening reception there for my 2nd and for my 3rd baby. My 1st child had his at Douglaston Manor. We also had a great time there. Food was okay. It was beautiful in the spring, and the hall we got led to this outdoor patio that had the view of the golf course. It made for lovely pics.

about 40 people. The church is in douglaston so I think most of those places are too far. I called Giardinos they are booked.

i would recommend here also i had my baby shower there in 2010 and itwas 35 pp for everything including open bar not sure how much it is now
