High Amniotic Fluid level

I had high fluid. They warned me that it could be a problem but most likely it wasn't. My due date was 4/18, I had a repeat c-section scheduled for 4/11 but my water broke on 4/7. DD was born perfectly healthy screaming her head off at a perfect weight and was eating like a champ in recovery. She is 2 now and has had zero issues. I will say that when my water broke, HOLY COW, even DH was like "how is all of that inside you along with a baby" lol

Are you consistently 25 or did you just get the one reading? I had one week in the 20's, but next week it went down a bit (was getting weekly biophysical profiles for GD). If it's one reading so far, try not to worry. The fluid will probably decrease.

With Ds I was at 24 the day before I have birth
I was 40w2d; went into labor on my own. The only "problem" I had was that they broke my water in the hospital when I was 8cm and somehow the baby shifted and kind of plugged it up for lack if better description. So 2 hours after they broke my water I had zero progress so they wanted to give me petocin, but the dr checked me first and he I guess moved the baby so the rest of my water came out...and it was a lot! Then I progressed naturally (without petocin) and ds was born at a healthy 8lb 15oz

I had LOTS! and LOTS. They were concerned about pre-term labor but she was fine. Yes a bit early but only a couple of weeks. She's fine.

I 'leaked' until my C/S (she was breech)
