So let's talk PMS after having babies...
Everyone I speak to mentions that their periods totally change, regulate, etc after having a baby.
That is totally true for me- i have gone from having ridiculously long, wonky cycles to getting my period pretty much on time and knowing almost exactly when I ovulate too.
But do you also find that your PMS is different too?
I still get the lovely mood swings and 5 lbs of water weight gain, sore boobs, etc, but I also find that right before my period is due now I get almost pregnancy like symptoms- for example- I get heartburn, hot flashes, slight nausea, night sweats, my boobs are sooo much more sore and they grow a 1/2 a cup size, and the kicker- I even notice my sense of smell is heightened- just like when I was pregnant.
Not as bad as during pregnancy but right before my period I notice I am smelling things more strongly...perfume, food cooking, etc.
Anyone else find this?

I have no cramps, no mood swings, no symptoms. It's been a dream. But my actual period is ri-goddamn-diculous.

My PMS is pretty much the same.
But, I used to get a burning sensation in my tummy right before I got my period. After DD, I get nothing, no burning, no cramps. Nothing.

same. and my cycles are like 22 days long now, it sucks!

Since having the boys my cycle is much more regular. Cycle is only a few days, but has always been like that.
My cramps are a little worse, but nothing crazy. Also, I have the crazy urge to clean the house... I am normally a neat nut, but I mean nesting type symptoms. The smallest dust bothers me. LOL
Actually, since having the boys my ovulating cramps are aweful. Never even knew when I ovulated and now I get PMS symptoms of bloating and cramps.

Oh this too.
Before I had DD I never once bought a Super plus tampon.
Now even those barely cut it on the first few days.
And it lasts almost a week- not heavy like that but it lingers on and on!

Raging devil crazy lunatic person. I cry over nothing, I bloat like I haven't eaten in years, I could slap a b1tch for breathing to heavy. I'm vile.
Eta, and the actual event is so bad I can't leave my house the first two days. So happy happy joy joy.

MOOD SWINGS are SO BAD after I had DS... I had PMDD before I had him, but it is 100 times worse now.. It will last about 36-48 hours and I HATE everyone!!!! Especially men.. I am on birth control because my periods were so HEAVY after I had him and I was becoming anemic every month!! Now I am good in that department but it doesn't do anything for the mood swings.. Most of my family knows to just leave me alone during that time of the month..

So let's talk PMS after having babies...
My PMS is terrible after having DD. My period is also a lot longer and heavier. The only thing is I don't get menstrual cramps as bad as I used to.

Haha I feel like this too. In fact I have a raging case of PMS as we speak.

Yup! That was me late last week and earlier this week before she arrived.
I hated everyone. I cried at everything.
I raged at everything.
I wanted to quit my job.
I wanted to divorce my DH! 
I wanted to run away from DD and go live on a commune or something!
Yeah, it was bad!

Yeah it's bad and it lastes like the whole 2 weeks from ovulation to period. I actually thought I had PMDD at first, in fact I may have had it. I would be a raging lunatic and actually threatened to leave Dh a few times. It has gotten a little better and at least I know what's going on and can control it better. Was NEVER like that before.
And I get odd symptoms too like heartburn and gagging when I brush my teeth. Fun never ends.

I feel like I am always a crazy person lately not sure if it is pms or the insanity of having 3 kids under 2.5!! However I'm not sure if my first pp period is coming but my uterus is all bloated again and I feel soo crampy along my c section scar yesterday and today.

My periods and pms got much worse after my second. I get horribly nauseous now, cramps and mood swings all got worse!
