Boys Baptism Outfits...Approx how much $$
Just curious where you go yours and how much it cost so I dont have sticker shock when we go shopping!

Boys Baptism Outfits...Approx how much $$
I got mine online (can't remeber where though) and I think I paid $70. I was not going to pay more than $100 seeing it was never going to be used again and truthfully I think mine got tossed after.
I am not the type of person to save things or perserve them.

DS wore a white Carter's one piece outfit. It cost $20. He also wore it again. My DD wore a dress passed down from 4 generations and one we all wore.

The outfit I got DS (posted on other thread) was $50 after coupons at Macy's (JC Penney retails it for $50 but, I wanted to see it in person and I had a giftcard for Macy's as well). It was well worth the investment since I got to use it 2x.

DS wore an heirloom gown that everyone in the family has worn for generations. I did buy a back-up outfit for him to change into though when we went to t he luncheon after- Burlington Coat Factory and I think it was $30

You can spend anything you want.
Boutique shops will run at least $200 for an Italian made baptism outfit. I budgeted this for my god kids.
Retail stores will run about $75 to $100. (like Nordstrom or lord and Taylor).
Macy's and JCPenney will run slightly less.
I've seen people get beautiful girl dresses from Carter's for $20.
Personally, I spent $100 for my boy and $200 for my girl.

We just got DS' last week from the Colony Shop. Got the cutest outfit with shoes and socks and it totaled $87

I went to the flea market....decent selection and I spent $40. Burlington coat factory also has reasonably priced outfits (under $50)

HA, me too, but I went to Little Dickens. It all depends, you can get a beautiful one for $30, or $250. Beautiful christening outfits come in all budgets, just depends on where you go. You will definitely be able to find something you love in any price range.

We went to Charlotte's Kids and paid $110 but they had stuff there in every price range. That just happened to be the one we liked.
