Pics from the boys' Baptism
We had a few snafus on Sunday (cesspool filled up, a$$hole neighbor threatened to call cops on us bc a guest's tire was touching his lawn, another guest got wasted and MIL was super rude to me and many guests)
BUT overall we had a terrific day.

But, um, I think you forgot the LIF rule that if you have a good MIL story you have to share it.

But, um, I think you forgot the LIF rule that if you have a good MIL story you have to share it.
From the moment I picked MIL up from the airport on Thursday, she criticized everything I did. She just had brain surgery in July and has been a very angry, nasty, resentful person ever since. She threw a fit that I didn't have mayo for her hamburger and demanded that I go get it for her.
When it was time for me to cut the cake, I wanted to show the boys their cake and light candles so everyone could sing to them. (I know it's silly, but that's how I am.) She told me that was stupid and pushed me out of the way so she could take pics of the cake. I gave my mom the knife and told her to cut the cake; otherwise I was going to stab MIL.
She insulted me over and over again in front of all of my guests. Everyone was horrified. She invited herself to my parents' house for Thanksgiving. My sister says she won't go if my MIL is there. On Sunday morning we realized that our cesspool was full (again!) so DH asked everyone to take quick showers. She took a 20 minute shower and said that she deserves it because she needs that time to relax each day.
DH won't really say anything to her bc her and his sister are the only family he has and we only see them a few times a year.
She came up to stay w/ us for 2.5 weeks when the boys were born and brought our 7yo niece, even though I specifically asked her not to bc the boys were preemies and the dr said not to have other kids around them. She said she's coming back next summer with both nieces and is staying for at least 2 weeks. 
I can't even convey how horrible it is to have her stay w/ us. I do love her, but she just needs to keep her mouth shut, mind her business and have some manners.
