Cerclage is done... Update on me
Sorry its taken me a couple of days to post. PennyCat was kind enough to update for me on Tuesday! Thanks Jackie!!! 
From Saturday-Tuesday afternoon were the longest and scariest days of my life to date.  after spending Saturday night to Sunday afternoon in the hospital and being sent home with a diagnosis of a UTI--- it's a miracle that I'm still pregnant. 
I was told my cervix was over 4 and that I wasn't having any contractions according to the monitor they hooked up to me overnight. I was also told i was dilated 1cm but was probably because of a D&C I had in the past. And that my bloodwork showed I had a UTI so I was given Keflex and told to follow up with my OB. To my knowledge I only saw resident drs- and though I kept asking when my dr would be there was eventually told that he was not there, but thu had been talking to him, and I was being released. And that the pressure I was feeling was because of the uti and after 24 hours I should feel much better.
I had an appt w dr Kofinas on Monday afternoon but was in pain and so uncomfortable that i called and after talking to a couple of people and explaining what was going on was told to just come in and they would squeeze me in when they could.
When I got my sono done it was discovered that I was in fact in preterm labor and my cervix was dilated. I was immediately given meds to stop contractions and was told that I'm on strict bed rest until an emergency cerclage could be done on tuesday. I took the meds and only got up to use the bathroom and headed into Brooklyn to the hospital early Tuesday morning.
From there I found out things had gotten worse overnight. I was even more dilated and the membranes were starting to come out. The dr in the room wasn't sure the procedure could even still be done... It sounded like it was too late. Thankfully dr. Kofinas came in and told them to get me down to the operating room. I was given the open ended statement off "If I can get the membranes in, then everything should be ok..." But I heard the rest of the message as well. 
An hour or so later I was given a spinal and then they put a drape up so I couldn't see. The spinal somehow muffled the hearing in my left ear and I kept getting sick 
I thought dr Kofinas came in but never actually was sure that I heard him. Eventually he asked me how I was and I told him that I was as good as I could be until he told me that my kids were going to be ok... to which he Thank God replied that he had gotten the membranes back in successfully and he was starting the first stitch. 
He was truly amazing and he came over while I was still laying on the table and he Thanked God that the procedure was successful...  I've always believed in miracles, but if I had any doubt before I don't anymore. He saw my husband and my parents and when they thanked him he let them know that God was in that operating room...
The odds were definitely not in our favor... And I still feel sick just thinking about what could've happened, even with my going to the hospital and staying overnight and following up w my dr on Monday morning.... I'm just so thankful that everything worked out. I'm in lots of pain but couldn't be happier about it, given the alternative... And just praying from here on out for a smooth rest of my pregnancy. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers and to those of you who have been checking in on me.

Oh my goodness you poor thing! Thank goodness everything is ok and that you have an amazing Dr. in your corner! I am praying for you and wishing you a speedy recovery!

 So glad everything is looking up....God has definitely been looking over you and your babies!! I'm so sorry you had to endure such a crazy situation but the outcome is definitely worth it! I hope you can relax a bit now that you are all stitched up..... Are you still on bed rest? I'm praying for you and your babies everyday!!!

Wow what a scare..so glad you see dr Kofinas! He is an amazing man! Hope you are feeling better but I remember him telling me pain after the cerclage means he did a good job 
Hang in there! Many for an uneventful rest of your pregnancy!
