BRU vent
I am still finding things I need to return to BRU. Of course I dont have the receipt. The lady says, I can only give you the min value of it. What?
I said to the lady: So I can walk over to the display right now and pay $9.00 but because I dont have the receipt you give me less than half?
Why is there a min price when you are going to just put it back on the shelf and charge full price?
She couldnt even look at me in the face to tell say thats the policy.
What a scam. How I wish i had only registered at BBB

I don't understand... They won't give you what it's currently selling for? Who decides what minimum price is?

Exactly.. Its there brand also. So its not like it was from somewhere else. Oh and it was on my registry which you can still see it was bought from.

Return everything to BBB. They take anything back that is sold in their store even without a receipt or registry.

BRU sucks! I had various problems with my registry. I also got annoyed when I put something on my registry so I knew how much the price was online, but ended up buying it myself and was charged 5.00 more in store. When I questioned it I was told that their online prices are cheaper (WHAT??) but you can't get them to honor that price in store and use a coupon. I feel like you need to research what's the better buy with that store( buying online with no coupon or buying in store with coupon), and who has time for that? When I went off about this policy the woman said she understood and then told me that each BRU store also has different prices. I have checked it out and she's right. I live in Nassau and usually shop at Westbury. My mom lives in Suffolk and when I am there I shop at Lake Grove. The Lake Grove store has items ( like Gripewater) for over a dollar more. They also don't take BBB coupons but Westbury does. Just bogus ! I realized that so many people got doubly screwed by buying off my registry depending on where they bought the item and possibly paying more depending on store location.When I told the woman @ BRU how crappy their policies are and how I should have registered at BBB , she told me they are " more expensive". I told her that is absolutely not true, I've always found them same price or cheaper. Plus they take tons of coupons , and all at once too.

They are always so shady about returns and pricing.
At least they were willing to give you the minimum value. When I had tried to return stuff that I had gotten as a present without a receipt, they refuse to even entertain me and said no receipt (gift or otherwise), no exchanges or even store credit. It was clearly a BRU product, but still nothing!

Yup, I flat out told them it was from BRU and they took it back as long as they sold it there as well. Such better customer service!!

in the past, BRU has looked up returns either through my registry or my rewards card if i don't have a receipt. are you able to exchange for something similar (different size, style, etc)? then they would do an even swap.
