Sippy Cup Help
Ds #2 is 9 month old and hates all sippy cups!
He holds his bottle on his own (Playtex Drop-ins). However, I've tried a variety of different sippy cups for water and juice and he just plays with them and really won't drink out of them. With the weather being soo hot I'd like him to drink water or juice. I only give formula in the bottle.
Have any of you gone through this? Which sippy cups are working for your DC? Any advice?

Sippy Cup Help
DD loves the Playtex straw cups. When we transitioned to milk I tried a few soft spout cups, which she preferred for like a week, and then went back to the straws. But for the soft spouts I used Nuk and Tommee Tippee ones. I really liked the TT ones.

Re: Sippy Cup Help
DD uses the Playtex straw cups.
The clear ones for water and the insulated for milk.
I just took the bottle away and she does fine with these cups

Re: Sippy Cup Help
DS #1 loves the straw cups. Ds #2 is just anti-sippy cup. I haven't really tried the straw ones with him.
So DS #1 took naturally to the straw sippy's. i didn't really have to 'teach' him how to use it. how did you get your DC to get the 'straw' concept??

Sippy Cup Help
The only sippy cups my boys like are the take n toss. We tried all the others and they weren't fans.

Re: Sippy Cup Help
DS loves the Nuby Straw Cups. They're great!
My only concern is that when I try to give him a regular sippy cup, he doesn't yet get that he has to tilt it up. I'm afraid to confuse him by interchanging between the two different cups, so we've been sticking with the straw cups.

Re: Sippy Cup Help
Mine do/did well with the take and toss - Colin now has playtex sippy cups - I don't know the exact name, but they are all hard plastic .......
HOW do you get them to drink from a straw? I had such a hard time teaching Sean, and now Colin too !!
